Can anyone tell me why the infoboxes keep condensing down to an annoying mess? This is happening often on new pages even when I'm copying the templates and pasting. Before they were nice and linear from top to bottom, now they appear as a clump that you need to read from left to right. It makes changing anything within the infobox a pain since it takes longer to find things. Thanks for any input.

I know, it's horrible to check when editing.
It hasn't happened to any new pages I've written, fortunately. I use Monobook and the plain-text editor there (still number one!), so I assume it's a problem with the Source editor, VisualEditor, and/or the rich-text editor in the Oasis/Wikia skin. I assume some new bug/feature has decided to compress templates or something. Which do you use? I know it happens to you and User:Unknown user 11.

It never happens to me. I use Oasis, but I never use the visual editor; I always edit raw text.

Ugh, it also removes unused entries, so adding information to the infoboxes will require recreating the infobox every time.

I have not experienced this either. What browsers are y'all using? I'm using Firefox 41.0.2.

I usually use source editor with Chrome but just made the Abi Talid page with Firefox and it still compressed the infobox.

Good news: I created the Markos Silverhammer page the same way I always do, but did not add the info box. After saving the page, I went back in and pasted the infobox template and filled it in and saved the page again. When I did a test edit on the page the infobox remained nice and linear. Not sure why, but that works for me!

Totally agree... yucky to edit... I have given up on User 11... trying to fix all the infoboxes with FIVE new pages a day... blah... but I use Firefox and have had no crushing problems.

I lost track of how many times I've asked User 11 to use caps in his infoboxes, etc.

I had this happen once to me already when I was editing the mongrelman page and I've only been editing stuff for a few days now.

Mongrelman looks fine to me now. Did you redo the infobox? I have Firefox 42.0, and have had no issues that I've seen.

Ya, I replaced the info box when it happened, I think it was when I first created the page. I use Google Chrome 46.0.

I believe I have found the issue, at least with Google Chrome, as I tested it about 10 times in a row with the same result. When you just click on the regular edit screen, edit, whenever you change over to the source code popup, add something to an info box and update the edit page you are working on, your infobox gets crushed. This happens whenever you add information to the infoboxes using this editing screen. If you are going to edit the infoboxes, I find editting straight from the source code as being the best way to edit the page without collapses.
