I'm getting ready to create the page for the Segarran which is a unique creature in Zakhara. The monstrous compendium page has the Segarran divided into lesser and greater versions with a good bit of information on each, so I wanted to get opinions on if I should make 1 article entitled Segarran or an article for Lesser Segarran and a separate article for Greater Segarran. And if 2 articles are made, which would be a better way to name them: Lesser Segarran or Segarran, Lesser?

I would just go with one article. You can use Size table if they have different sizes.

I'd say... it's depends. If they're practically completely different creatures, then two articles might be best. But if there's a lot of overlapping lore or the greater segarran is basically segarran-plus, then one article would be more efficient. And if lore refers to just "segarrans", e.g., "The jungle was full of segarrans" then linking to the one article is easier.
As for the articles' names, I suggest making it as close as possible to what you'd link to in an article, to avoid piped links and disambiguation. For example, "The jungle was full of lesser segarrans, led by one greater segarran" is preferable to "The jungle was full of lesser segarrans, led by one greater segarran"

I ultimately decided on 2 pages: Lesser segarran which I just created and Greater segarran which I'll make later today or tomorrow. After doing a bit more research the origins and purpose of lesser/greater varied too much for me to feel like they belonged on a single article.

After reading both articles, I agree completely.
