So, I'm starting another crazy project, but I need some help. I'd like to start tracking a giant list of all records in the Realms, by this I mean a listing of facts (with citations) about all the superlatives—the biggest, smallest, fastest, slowest, strongest, weakest, richest, poorest, longest, shortest, etc., etc.—people, places, and things of Toril and Realmspace. Think a Guiness Book of World Records for the Realms. I'll worry about sorting and categorizing them later; for now, I am just starting a giant list here:

Please feel free to add interesting records as you discover them.

Ooh, that sounds fun. Do you want us to post findings here or directly at the project site? I can think of:
And I stumbled upon something very specific

Merry Christmas, everyone!

What a great idea Lhynard! Is it fine to add things if we don't have exact stats? Example: the Jumpa River is probably the largest river on the planet, but I don't have the exact measurement of length.

Daranios, feel free to add them to the list on my project page.

(Poor, Calimport; it really thought it was the biggest.) Artemaz, yes, that is fine. Stats are less important than a source that states the fact, but you can also just use the {{Fact}} template if it seems hard to argue with.

I can't think of any offhand, but I know of some "bests". Volo and others declare some inns and taverns as the best in Faerun, but there seem to multiple claimants to that title, and it's much more subjective. It feels like cheating, but you could ask Ed Greenwood, he'd be all over that. :)
