I noticed there is almost no coverage of the events and characters from the Menace of the Underdark expansion for Dungeons and Dragons Online.

I would presume that at least the basic plotline of the game is canonical, but since there is very little on here about any of this (aside from a brief mention in the article on Sschindylryn, since that city is a prominent part of the plotline)

However, I'm not a normal poster here and didn't want to step on toes before I created an account and started working on this issue.

Since the plotline of the game seems to imply a major impact on the Forgotten Realms going forward (i.e. the possible reincarnation of a post-spellplague Mystra in some form) it seems like it would warrant some coverage.

As a summary:

In Eberron, a cult frees a demon queen named the Spinner of Shadows from her prison. Adventurers try to seal her back again, but before they can, she reveals her real plot: she calls out to her "sister" who is revealed to be Lolth. Lolth tears a massive rift in the planes, connecting the Demonweb to Eberron.

The adventurers enter the Demonweb in pursuit, only to find Elminster there investigating the new planar connection. The adventurers follow Elminster to Faerun, only to find that the Drow in Faerun are now intently seeking something called the "Thread of the Weave", that they don't know what it is.

In their travels, the adventurers find a young Cormyrian peasant named Ana Brabener, being held as a slave of the Drow. She manages to escape, by invoking some magical power she does not understand. The adventurers escort her to Elminster, who begins to investigate her true nature and help her learn to control her powers.

Elminster realizes that Ana is the Thread of the Weave, and she has some measure of Mystra's power within her. Shortly thereafter, Lolth abducts her to the Demonweb, to devour her soul and with it the parts of Mystras divine power with her, in an attempt to become the new Goddess of Magic.

The adventurers rescue Ana and return her to Cormyr, where she continues to try to come to terms with her full power. It's not made explicit what her role is, but it is very clear that somehow she will be instrumental in the rebirth of Mystra.

It's entirely possible that you may be the only editor here who still plays DDO. That being the case, we would appreciate it if you could create the articles relevent to this development. Thanks.
