Related research has led me to mentions of Panzuriel, an aquatic evil aligned deity. It's principal source (as far as I can find) is the Monster Mythology page 90. Normally I'd just make a new page, but apparently it's been deleted twice? But I admit freely I don't understand how wikis work. Why was it deleted? Obscurity? We certainly have obscure deities, (Diancastra) and (Gorellik). Or is it because their portfolio was taken over? Anyway, I'm hoping to receive some clarification on the matter.

Probably that's because Faiths and Pantheons (p. 220) explicitely says that Panzuriel has no influence in the Realms - compare Umberlee's entry. His name is actually invoked on Toril, but Umberlee acts under this alias. Personally, I am undecided if it would be a good idea to have an article, just to have a basis what worshiper's of "Panzuriel" might think of, and explain the Umberlee connection. Or if it would be better to redirect to Umberlee and have very condensed information there.

For what it's worth, Panzuriel is explicitly mentioned as being worshiped on Toril in Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark p. 24 and is also mentioned by name in "One Who Swims with Sekolah" in Realms of the Deep.

The Panzuriel page was deleted the first time because it was spam and the second time because it was only a redirect to Umberlee, so there's nothing to worry about regarding obscurity. I think it would be worth having an article on Panzuriel for both the above points, but it should clearly state it's probably just Umberlee.
