Hi all!

I have some ideas for the portals I'd like discussed by the community.

Clean-Up

The Novels, Geography, Magic and Sourcebooks portals need a clean-up imo. They each have one really long half-box that just looks bad design wise and is hard to read.

Expand

The History portal could use more content.

New Portals

I'd like to propose we create 5 new portals: Comics, Cosmology, Creatures, Games and Items.

A Comics portal can work since we have 141 articles and 11 cats for comics.

A Cosmology portal would help showcase our amazing articles on the various planes. With 88 pages and 10 cats, I think it could work.

I'm surprised we don't have one for creatures, right now it just links to the category. With over 1,000 pages and 20 cats, I think it deserves a portal.

A Games portal would have all computer.console games, board games and cards.

An Items portal makes sense to me. With over 1,000 pages and 11 cats, there's no shortage of content to add to an Items portal page.

I'm willing to put the work into whatever solution we come up with, if any.

The problem with adding more portals is that the navigation menu is limited to seven items and we are already using all seven. Each of the seven items can have up to ten sub-items. Of course, we could make a Portal-of-Portals page, or scavenge slots from the other nav menus, but that gets disorganized.

Oh I was unaware that wikia imposed limited navmenus! We could keep the 7 now (changing Creatures to point to its portal) then link the other portals in the sidebar on the main page? And clicking on the Portals top nav button would show all the portals anyways no?
