The search box suggestions and the "autocomplete" feature of wiki links has become case-sensitive in the last few days. This is rather annoying, can we go back to being case-insensitive please?

It's supposed to disregard case. Nothing has been done to the search box by anyone here, though I suppose it's possible that some bugs have been introduced by the wikimedia upgrade that's going on at the moment.
Looks like we are still running MediaWiki 1.16 so the upgrade hasn't hit us yet (according to the info at the link on the notice down below, it's going to take a while). I hope it doesn't take until the end of July to get the bugs worked out :-/
