I oftentimes find it difficult to identify the signatures of artists for a number of reasons:

• Artists are not properly credited in sourcebooks i.e., they are given general credit at the start as "interior artists", but they are not given credit for specific pieces of artwork. This makes individual pieces of art seemingly impossible to identify without knowing the changing style of artists.

• Artists often change their signatures. Some of these can be similar to their previous ones, or not at all.

Take for example Volo's Guide to Monsters, where there are over 40 artists. Even though the styles are often different, it can be difficult to pinpoint each artist and link each piece of art to them. Thus, I'd like to formally propose Signature galleries, which would go at the bottom of the artist's page in the Appendix section. Note, these lists are not meant to be exhaustive, but just to highlight the more unique signature styles. Only signatures used in D&D material should be presented.

Signatures

Tony DiTerlizzi's signature often takes the form of stylized "TD" or "td" initials, or sometimes his surname across multiple lines. Some signatures are followed by the year.

This will come in very handy. My only suggestion is that each of the signature images links to the image on the wiki where it came from.

I love the idea, too! Any plans to somewhere have category intersections or categories "signaures of" to help find specific ones within the as yet to create Category:Signatures? Or should searching be done solely through the artists pages? Or should we agree on defaultsorting all signature images according to Lastname, Firstname?
