Frostbrand, or frost brand, weapons were designed to fight creatures with an affinity for fire.[3]
Powers[]
These weapons were particularly effective against creatures with a tie to the Elemental Plane of Fire. Magical flames could be extinguished half of the time by using a frostbrand. If ambient temperatures fell below freezing, the frostbrand was capable of emitting light just like a torch.[4][3]
Frostbrands also provided protection as a ring of fire resistance.[4][3]
Notable Frostbrand Weapons[]
- Garavor, a broadsword frostbrand with a +3 enchantment that was the personal weapon of adventurer Kiera.[5]
