Fuirgar, also called the Land of the Stone Giants, was the name given to a small mountain range and surrounding lowland found in the Hordelands and east Faerûn.[1][2]

Geography[]

Fuirgar was located on the northern side of Rolling Stone Gap across from the Giant's Belt Mountains. It was bordered to the east by the Raurin desert, and the the west and north by the Dragonsword Mountains.[1][2] Some of the mountainous heights of Fuirgar were host to passive air shafts, carved out by gold dwarves to draw more air down into the depths of the Deep Lands.[3]

Inhabitants[]

This mountain range's epithet was derived from the fact that hundreds of stone giants inhabited the area.[4]
