Funada Genzo was the harbormaster of Nakamaru around 1357 DR.[1]


Genzo was an efficient harbormaster, commander of the shipyard garrison and supervisor of the shipping in the port. Thank of his effort the city flourished and he gained advantage. He managed a system of kickbacks and bribes from foreign merchants, despite not asking too many money and protecting and aiding those who did met his terms[1]


Genzo in order to protect his half-sister Sumi-ko tried to stop her infatuation of Nagoya Kenko[2]


Genzo was arrogant with a love for money. However his main ambition was died in service of his master, Lord Funada Mitsuhide[1]
