Gardorra Burr was a gnome sailor active throughout the Trackless Sea from the 13th through the late 15th centuries DR. She was the author of the multi-volume guidebook, Fifty Years at Sea.[1]
History[]
She was well traveled throughout the Trackless Sea and Sea of Swords, from the northern islands of the Northlanders through the Moonshae Isles and Mintarn down to the southern islands as far as Lantan. She had personally visited many of these isles, and had heard tales from friends of others, such as Nimbral, which she dutifully reported in her books.[3] She published the first volume of Fifty Years at Sea after, appropriately, fifty years of sailing. The second was published after 100 years and the third, written in or shortly before 1489 DR, after 200 years.[1]
Her proudest feat was stowing away in a basket on a ship that sailed to Evermeet, where she was immediately apprehended and sent away with a warning to never return under penalty of death.[2]
