Garvin was a young man from Bloodstone Village in Damara who helped liberate his home from the bandit army of Vaasa in the mid–14th century DR.[1]

At age 19, he was 5 feet and 9 inches (1.8 meters) tall, weighed 145 pounds (65.8 kilograms), and had brown hair and eyes.[1]

History[]
In the Year of Shadows, 1358 DR, Garvin and Garlen left Bloodstone Village and traveled to the town of Valls to find heroes who could deliver their hometown from Vaasa's oppression. While attending the Circus of Doctor Trundles, the boys witnessed Gareth Dragonsbane and his adventuring companions put down an outbreak of rampaging monsters. Impressed by their skill and bravery, the boys asked the heroes for their aid, and then guided them through the Galena Mountains to Bloodstone. Once there, Garvin and Garlen arranged a meeting between the adventurers and the town's leader, Baron Tranth.[2]
