The Gateway to the Afterworld was one of the two most significant temples of Osiris in all of Mulhorand and his preeminent temple in the town of Mishtan.[1]
Description[]
This temple resembled two concentric rings of towering pillars, so large that the rooms inside of them were interconnected through graceful arches.[1]
Activities[]
The clergy of the Gateway administered the maintenance of the Land of the Dead—the burial grounds of the pharaohs and their families—and the construction of tombs there.[1] Additionally, the temple's clergy acted as the governing body of Mishtan.[1][2]
Inhabitants[]
The Gateway to the Afterworld acted as the base for the majority of the Osiran religious orders in Mulhorand.[1]
