A watchman or watchwoman was a junior member of the City Watch of Waterdeep, serving as a patrolperson.[2][1]

They typically patrolled inside the walls of Waterdeep in groups of four, with two patrolpersons, one sergeant, and one captain.[2]
PossessionsEdit
Circa 1357 DR, patrolmen and women of the City Watch typically had the standard City Watch kit of leather and chain armor, short swords, daggers, and sturdy rods like clubs.[2]
Circa 1372 DR, in addition to their uniform, watchmen and women were outfitted in masterwork studded leather armor, with a steel light shield, and carried a masterwork short sword and club. They also possessed a potion of cure light wounds and an oil of magic weapon.[1]
