Genius was a divination spell that priests could use to gain a burst of knowledge useful to understanding their current predicament.[1]
Effects[]
This spell granted the caster specific knowledge that could help them evaluate the situation at hand. For example, the granted information could help in identifying creatures in front of them. The granted knowledge was always relevant and correct, although it could be incomplete or cryptic.[1]
This spell had a cool-down period of twelve hours before it could be cast again.[1]
Components[]
A gem with a value of at least 50 gp was required to cast this spell, in addition to verbal and somatic components.[1]
History[]
Genius was one of the spells priests could learn by reading Wythyndle's Round Book.[2]
