House Gheldieg was an Amnian noble house originating from the Gildeggh family of Lord-Magister Lhorar Gildeggh of Waterdeep. The family was exiled and came to Amn, marrying into its families and gradually transforming into the Gheldieg family. Its power was eventually controlled by House Tanislove.[1]
