Giggle was a person-affecting cantrip that beginning wizards could learn.[4][5][6] It caused a target creature to suffer a brief fit of laughter.[1][2][3]
Effects[]
This cantrip had a range of 30 feet (9.1 meters)[4][5][6] and could target a single person or creature. If the target did not resist the spell, then it broke out in laughter for a period of two to three seconds before they could recover. If the spell was resisted, only a momentary chuckle ensued.[1][2][3]
Components[]
This cantrip required verbal and somatic components to cast. The caster wiggled a finger rapidly back and forth while uttering a word or phrase.[1][2][3][note 1]
