The Golden Road was a trade road running from Arrabar in Chondath on the Vilhon Reach through Ormpetarr to Innarlith on the Lake of Steam[1] and then on to Shaarmid and Kormul in the Shaar.[2][3][4]

The Golden Road connected with the Dunsel Trail at Shaarmid[5][6] and with the Trader's Way at Kormul.[1][3][4]

History[]

In 1385 DR the spellplague created an area of extreme magical chaos known as the Plaguewrought Land over much of the northern area formerly traversed by the road.[7]
