Goosefoot was a type of leafy plant that grew in Maztica and was among the main food sources for the Azuposi humans who dwelled there.[1]
Availability[]
Goosefoot was known to grow in the Pasocada Basin of Maztica. These were cultivated by the Azuposi, along with beeweed, calabashes, juniper, mayz, melons, pigweed, pinyon pine, prickly pear, squash, and various beans.[1]
Uses[]
Besides being edible,[1] goosefoot could be used to make a sedative. Particularly one that treated hysteria or nervous tension.[2]
