Harvest House was a temple of Chauntea in Daggerford. It was led by Lady Priestess Maerovyna.[1][2]

Grass and flowers inside a building? This doesn't seem proper... Although it does smell nice... Hmph, no, not proper at all.

Location[]

The temple was located on the Farmer's Road near Duke's Way in central Daggerford.[2]

Description[]

Located by the city's northern gate, also known as the Farmers' Gate, the Harvest House was a large stone temple that employed 14 priests and 30 laborers at one time in 1370 DR.[4] The main chamber where the worship took place was room carpeted by grass, with vines hanging off the walls, trees places along the floor in pots, and opulent flowers blooming across the room. The main shrine was a tree that radiated divine light and magic.[3]

Activities[]

In addition to teaching worshipers about religion and agriculture,[5] the occupants of the Harvest House also maintained small shrines to other deities.[6]

The temple was also housed the shop of the old Duneden, the only apothecary of Daggerford.[4][7]

Relationships[]

The clergy of the Harvest House, especially the priestess Maerovyna, were close to the druids of the Misty Forest. The druids maintained another temple to Chauntea in the forest, and Maerovyna would regularly send aspiring new recruits their way.[6]
