Hawksroost was a village found in the Moonsea North region of North Faerûn,[1][2] circa the late 13th century DR.[3]
Geography[]
The village lay on the border of Thar southeast of the Ride, less than 50 mi (80 km) south of Ilinvur. Before it was left to ruin, it was fairly accessible by the nearby Ilinvur Trail and Naed Creek.[1][2]
History[]
Sometime after the Year of the Claw, 1299 DR, Hawksroost was destroyed in a series of ogre attacks.[3]
Inhabitants[]
Hawksroost was once the home of Daern, a warrior who fought alongside the Ilmatari priest Flaergon of Glister and figured highly in the tale of the Tome of Torment.[3]
