The Hawkwinters (pronounced: /ˈhɔːkwɪntɛrHAWK-win-ter[1][2]) were one of the noble families of Waterdeep.[2][3] Their sigil showed two flags flying in the breeze.[3]

Activities[]

House Hawkwinter was most often associated with soldiering, garrisons, and guardianship. As of the 1370s DR, their net worth was estimated at 35,000 gold pieces.[2]

Base of Operations[]

The family owned a villa in the North Ward, on the southeast corner of Tower March and Whaelgond Way.[4]

14th Century[]

In 1372 DR House Hawkwinter contained 41 nobles. The patriarch was Eremoes Hawkwinter. Genos Hawkwinter was to be the next heir after Eremoes.[2] Gastar Hawkwinter was considered to be one of the most influential members of the Hawkwinter. At some point he fathered a half-elven bastard Eremuth Silverwind. By the late 14th century DR, Gastar was an old man.[5]
