Helm Dwarf-Friend was the ruler of Sundabar[5] and a member of the Council of 12 Peers,[2] and its successor, the nine-member Council of the Marches.[6]

Helm was known as a wise and fair leader.[5][7]
History[]
Helm first gained notoriety when he was a the war-captain of the Bloodaxe Mercenary Company, his valiant campaigns earned him popularity in Sundabar. In 1355 DR, Helm became the sixth Ruling Master of the city of Sundabar.[8][note 2]
Relationships[]
Helm Dwarf-Friend had a son Frosthelm, that become the king of Sundabar after him. Frosthelm had a son that became the next king of the city, Firehelm.[1]
