Hide armor was a type of armor used on Toril.
Description
Hide armor was made from animal skins, pelts and furs.[5] It was often used by barbarian tribes[5] or druids who couldn't wear metal armor.[6] Hide armor was thicker and heavier than leather armor. The hides of bears, griffons and dragons were commonly used.[7] Although hard to move in,[6] hide armor was not so thick as to hinder speed.[7]
