High Hedge is the home of the wizard Thalantyr, which is situated northwest of Beregost.[1]
Structure
Thalantyr the Conjurer's estate is a dark, turreted stone building overgrown with pines. It overlooks a pond, which the wizard has been known to sit near and speak to something beneath the surface.[2]
Defense
The keep is defended by two griffons, who are a mating pair and are strongly loyal to Thalantyr. His home is also protected by an invisible servant, who has been known to spy and deliver information and objects to the wizard.[3]
Appearances
Template:BG In the Baldur's Gate computer game, the player can visit Thalantyr in High Hedge, although the estate will not be guarded by griffons but a pair of flesh golems, who can only be harmed by magical weapons.[4]
