Highhome was a dwarven fastness[1] in the Cambro Mountains on Gwynneth in the Moonshae Isles.[2]

With this sword, forged by the dwarves of Highhome, I pledge to remain stalwart and true.

Description[]

This dwarven stronghold was naturally protected by the surrounding mountains.[1]

History[]

Highhome was founded by dwarves circa –7000 DR by the settlers of Dwarvenhome.[2]

Some time prior to –201 DR, the Sword of Cymrych Hugh was forged by Highhome dwarves.[4]

Following the return of Sarifal in the Year of Lightning Storms, 1374 DR, the dwarves of Gwynneth would eventually be driven from their homes by evil fey,[5] notably fomorians and spriggans.[6] By the 15th century DR, there were only a handful of defenders (known as cragwardens) left to protect Highhome.[7] Around the same time, a ki-rin named Daiwon fought off a red dragon and took refuge in Highhome.[8]
