Hold monster is an enchantment spell that holds a targeted creature helpless.[1]
Effect
This spell functions in the same manner as hold person, except that it can be used against any creature who fails its Will save.[1]
Material component
One hard metal bar or rod, which can be as small as a three-penny nail.[1]
