The House of the Fine Carvers was the guildhall of the Waterdhavian guild of the same name.[3][4][5][6]

Location[]

The House of the Fine Carvers was located along the High Road,[3][4] in the Castle Ward of Waterdeep.[2][3][4]

Structure[]

This guildhall stood three-stories tall.[1][2] It was constructed of wood and had a slate roof. It stood out from other nearby buildings due to exterior friezes that depicted both animals and the first Lords of Waterdeep, such as Ahghairon.[5]

Interior[]

The cellar of this guildhall contained a shaft leading down into one of the junction rooms of the sewers of Waterdeep.[7]

Reputation[]

The House of the Fine Carvers was among some of the more notable and recognizable guildhalls in the Castle Ward. Like other guildhalls in the Castle Ward, it was considered by locals to be a landmark.[5]
