Howling Ghost Wood was a forest near the Starn Valley in the mid–8th century DR.[1]

The forest was close to the Starn.[1]
Flora & Fauna[]
Plants included sources of nuts, berries, and alphran leaves. There were also moontouch blooms, fiddleheads, and butter cones in the flora. Stag were present.[1] The woods around the valley, presumably including Howling Ghost Wood, also held wolves.[2]
Rumors & Legends[]
Despite the name, Immeira, a local woman of the mid–8th century, had yet to see a ghost in the woods, howling or otherwise.[1]
