Ideepton was a small fishing village that stood on the shores of Lake Weng in Amn.[1]

Description[]

The most notable feature of the settlement were its blue glowing waters, sacred to the followers and clergy of the church of Eldath. The population of Ideepton did not exceed 200 in the late-14th century DR.[1]

Geography[]

Ideepton stood on the northern shore of Lake Weng, at the base of the Cloud Peaks, an altitude of 1,500 feet (460 meters).[3] The town's closest neighbors were the village of Edive to the east, Minsor Vale on the southwestern shore, and Shatar to the southeast.[1] It was the closest settlement to the Mountain of Skulls.[4]

Trade[]

The village of Ideepton produced fish and root vegetables. The locals kept the crops and sold the excess to marching military or inhabitants of surrounding citadels. It was rarely visited by travelers.[1]
