Infestation was a conjuration spell that poisoned a creature.[1]
Effects
When cast, the spell summoned a cloud of various parasitical insects around a target creature. For the spell to be effective, the target creature had to be within 30 feet (9.1 meters) from the caster. As a result of of biting or burrowing, the target creature was poisoned. The potency and duration of the poison were determined by the caster's skill level.[1]
Components
In addition to verbal and somatic components, the spell required a material component: a live flea.[1]
