Iron body was a transmutation or alteration spell that turned the subject's body to living iron which, in turn, greatly enhanced some resistances and granted some new abilities.[5]
Effects[]
While under the effects of this spell, the target experienced the following effects:[5][4]
- Increased strength
- Decreased speed, increased weight
- Decreased agility
- Lose the ability to consume liquids
- Cast all spells as if wearing a suite of plate mail
- Resistance to physical harm
- Immunity to all forms of deafness, blindness, disease, drowning, poison, electricity, and stun attacks
- Resistance to fire and acid
Components[]
In addition to verbal and somatic components, this spell needed as a material component a small piece of iron that had once been part of an iron golem,[4] armor worn by a hero, or a war machine to cast.[5]
