Jaqon was a greater devil and former duke who lived on Avernus, the first hell of Baator, where he was exiled by Asmodeus for a great betrayal. Asmodeus changed Jaqon's name to Dagon (not to be confused with the demon lord of the same name), so that if someone tried to summon him, they would instead summon the powerful demon lord's aspect.[1]
Description
Jaqon resembled a satyr with red skin and green eyes, but was clean shaven. His horns were small and curved like those of a pit fiend. He usually wore a weapon in a harness, and a backpack, in order to pretend to be a wandering, lost creature trying to get back home to the Prime Material plane.
Activities
Jaqon led his followers in a battle against Asmodeus, becoming an archdevil in the process.[citation needed]
