Jeff "Zippy" Quick is a game designer who has worked for TSR, Inc. and Wizards of the Coast, was a member of the Role-Playing Group Association (RPGA), and acted as the editor of Polyhedron Newszine from mid-1996 to 1999. He has also performed freelance work for Pathfinder and other games.
History[]
Jeff was born in the year 1971, in Nashville, Tennessee. In his youth, much of Jeff's time was spent around Baptist churches. Growing up he grew a fondness for comic books, including the Tick and Usagi Yojimbo, as well as tabletop rpgs like D&D and Werewolf: The Apocalypse.[1]
While working as the editor of the Polyhedron Newszine, he occasionally built houses with Habitat for Humanity.[1]
In his final issue as Polyhedron Newszine's editor, #134, Jeff wrote a formal farewell announcing his stepping down as editor and his move towards working as a game editor for the Forgotten Realms setting among other projects.[2]

Background[]
- Polyhedron #122 featured "Larger than Life", a biographical article with a humorous bent on Scott Douglas, Jeff Quick, and Robert Wiese. While the others were detailed as Dungeons & Dragons characters, Jeff was written as a Werewolf: The Apocalypse character, belonging to the Bone Gnawers tribe and having the ragabash auspice.[1]
