Jewel Talondim was the matriarch of the Talondim Clan, an independent thieves’ clan in the city of Iriaebor not allied with any guild.[1]
Normally such free-lancers were disposed of by larger, territorial guilds, such as the Purple Masks Guild. But due to the Jewel's strong hand, other thief’s guilds sought ally themsleves instead.[2]
She was a beautiful woman, she had short onyx black hair, her skin was as lustrous as burnished amber and she had dusky violet eyes. She looked to be the same age as Mari Al'maren, around her 30's, when she was in fact nighty-three in 1364 DR. She claimed that this was not due to magic, but good blood. [3]
She had a strong hand and a keen mind, she was quick witted and had a smoky voice. [4]
When she was travelling, she wore riding leathers dyed the same dusky violet color as her eyes. [5]
