Jherek was an agent for the Harpers in the mid–14th century DR. He helped in stopping Eldrith the Betrayer, Mordoc SeLanmere, and the Zhentarim (under leadership of Karne) from gaining control of the Onyx Tower in the Year of Lightning Storms, 1374 DR.[1][2]

Jherek was in charge of the Harper activity in Baldur's Gate, the Western Heartlands, and along the Sword Coast.[1][2]
