Joadath was Lord of Shadowdale between 1273 DR and his death in 1300 DR.[1][2] He was an agnostic who believed that the deities held no power. This was a belief that led, in 1297 DR, to the massacre of Tyrists on Watcher's Knoll.[3]
Joadath died in 1300 DR when an unknown individual brought a beast from the nether planes to Shadowdale.[3][2]
