Joluv was a merchant specializing in the sale of enchanted weapons, who lived during the mid–14th century DR.[1]
“
I have recently arrived from the Ten Towns of Icewind Dale. It was a long trek, but I wanted to get the most value I could from the items I had collected up north. Athkatla is known as the richest city in all of Faerûn, so I knew there would be adventurers about with the amount of coin I was looking for. Would you like to take a look at my wares?
”
— Joluv[1]

Within his collection, Joluv had a amassed no less than ten weapons that were distinct to the region of Icewind Dale. Some of these were quite old, dating as far back as the 13th century.[1]
Many of these weapons were the personal armaments of important individuals. Among them was the staff carried by Archdruid Arundel and the Spear of Kuldahar, destined to belong to that village's great defender.[1]
History[]
As of the Year of the Banner, 1368 DR, Joluv could be found selling his wares at the Copper Coronet tavern, in the slums of Athkatla.[1]
