The Hill giant language,[2] referred to in Jotun as Jotunhaug, was a language derived from Jotun[1] spoken by both hill giants[1][2] and mountain giants. It was closely related to Jotunise, the language of frost giants.[1]
Speakers[]
In addition to the hill giants spread across the breadth of Faerûn, the hill giant language was used among many of the merchants who did business within the Shining Lands of the Shining South.[2] It was also a common secondary language among oreads.[3]
