The Jumpa River Gorge was one of the largest canyons in all of Toril.[1]

Geography[]

Formed from the churning waters of the mighty Jumpa River, the gorge stretched along Katakoro Shan passed the countries of Khazari and Ra-Khati before entering the lands of East Faerûn.[1][5]

Description[]

The Jumpa River Gorge was steep. The cliff faces lining the gorge on either side averaged a height of 1,000 ft (300 m). The only known crossing of the Jumpa River Gorge was the Great Chain Bridge of Ra-Khati.[1]
