Katakoro Shan was an enormous mountain range located in the Hordelands. It was part of the larger Yehimal mountains.[2]

Geography[]

Katakoro Shan formed part of the borders of the nations of Khazari and Ra-Khati, and also provided a formidable boundary between them and the Katakoro Plateau. Stretching along this mountain range was the Jumpa River Gorge.[2][1]

Description[]

Rugged peaks that reached an elevation of 19,000 ft (5,800 m) dominated this mountain range. Several glaciers of note could be found nestled between the high peaks, including the Katakoro Glacier.[2]

Inhabitants[]

Many dangerous creatures inhabited the land surrounding Katakoro Shan, but the steep peaks kept them out of neighboring Khazari and Ra-Khati.[2] Some of the intelligent creatures that inhabited this mountain range included coombe giants[6] and humanoid gargantua.[7]

A religious order could also be found based deep within this mountain range, known as the Order of Rainbow Monks.[8]
