The Keep of Sorrows was a granite fortress, surrounded by a double ring of walls,[2] that was said to be impregnable.[3]
Geography[]
It was located in Thay to the south of the River Lapendrar, right next to a cliff that encircled central Thay called the First Escarpment, situated within the Tharch of Lapendrar, north of the tripoint where the borders of Lapendrar, Priador, and Tyraturos converged.[1]
