Keria was a mercenary that operated out of Phlan on the Moonsea North during the late 15th century DR.[1]
Relationships[]
Keria was friends with another mercenary named Aravele. Both of them were close with a Black Fist guardsman named Grim.[1][2]
History[]
During the 1480s DR,[note 1] various problems began to arise in Phlan[3] and tensions arose between the Black Fist and the local dockworkers that worked out of Sokol Keep. The situation reached a boiling point just after the beacon over the keep went out and numerous guardsmen, including Grim, went missing.[1]
One night Keria and her friend Aravele went out for drinks at the Laughing Goblin Inn. The two got into a heated argument with a group of local dockworkers that obviously came to the inn looking to start a fight.[1]

Notes[]
- ↑ Canon material does not provide a year for the Tyranny of Dragons storyline, but in a forum post, Greg Marks stated it was set in 1489 DR. However, the events of the Tyranny of Dragons are discussed in the novel Archmage, which is set in 1485/1486 DR and has events that necessarily put it after The Rise of Tiamat. Since this inconsistency has not been cleared up, this wiki will use the vague term "1480s DR" for events related to this storyline, though it is most likely no latter than 1486 DR.
