The doppelganger was a reluctant ally of Hlaavin, often acting autonomously, such as when it forged an alliance with Priamon Rakesk of the Twisted Rune.[1]

Khnarek had various identities. It was also known as Terl Fadesmar, a watch-wizard in the Dock Ward of Waterdeep; Ulik Frescem, a member of City Guard patrolling the City of the Dead; Respen, a priest of Selûne; and Enris the Gray, a halfling member of Mask's Conscripts.[1]
