Kiber Ederick was a paladin of Helm inhabiting the city of Waterdeep during the mid-to-late 14th century DR.[1]
Personality[]
Kiber was an elderly man by the Year of the Banner, 1368 DR, who took his duties as a protector of orphans in Helm's Hall very seriously. He often clashed with the patrons of Tymora's Blessing, who would attempt to teach the orphans crude games and songs.[2]
Activities[]
Kiber performed his daily morning prayers in the House of Heroes.[1]
History[]
Circa 1348 DR, Kiber's wife and oldest son were assassinated while he was on a quest. His young children, a pair of twins, were lost mysteriously.[2]
Full of grief, Kiber resolved to watch over the orphaned, lost, or otherwise neglected children of Waterdeep with the orphanage in Helm's Hall. Through his connections with various other temples, Kiber helped educate the children and set them up with a job in the trades, particularly the Guild of Chandlers and Lamplighters.[2]
Possessions[]
During his adventuring days Kiber owned a set of enchanted plate mail, an enchanted flame tongue bastard sword, a ring of water walking, and a bag of holding.[1]
