Klaruutor was an ancient crystal dragon who served as the guardian of the family of Calim, the noble djinni lord who founded the Calim Empire.[1][2][3]
Activities[]
Klaruutor resided within a palatial extradimensional space, similar to Mordenkainen's magnificent mansion, lying within the Forest of Mir in Calimshan and invisible from the outside. Within, he and several djinn vassals loyal to Calim guarded and tended to Calim's queen and twin sons, as well as its many artworks, treasure, and magic items. The family had been placed in temporal stasis and hidden here by Calim's generals after the fall of the Calim Empire in −6100 DR, to protect them from the violent purges of genies that took place in the successor state of Coramshan. They awaited the day when Calim was released from imprisonment in the Calimemnon Crystal.[1]

Klaruutor was still alive after the Dracorage of 1373 DR.[2][3]
