A knife was a unit of measurement used in cooking. One knife was defined as the amount of a substance that could balance atop the blade of a large chef's knife.[note 1] It was used to measure gluey or sticky ingredients, such as fats.[1]
Usage[]
The knife was used by chefs in the Dalelands. For example, the recipe for Stuffed Turkey Pie from the Watchful Eye in Essembra called for 4 knives of bacon fat to make the pastry dough.[1]
