Kozah's Needle was a magic staff named after an ancient god of lightning.[1]
Description
Kozah's Needle was 8 ft (2.4 m) long. It could be folded into a 4 ft (1.2 m) walking stick, but also transformed into a triple bar with a 4 ft (1.2 m) center bar, joined to a 2 ft (0.61 m) bar on each end joined to the center with chains (a dire threshing flail ), or split in half to form a pair of flails of two 2 ft (0.61 m) bars joined with chains.[1][2]
Kozah's Needle built up an electric charge as it was used, and it could unleash electricity, even channeling it through an opponent's metal weapon. In addition, if Dahlia charged the staff enough, it could burn a hole into an opponent and lay them low with a large blast of lightning. It was also discovered by accident that it could absorb electric magic to charge it.
Notable Owners
- Dahlia Sin'felle used the needle as her primary weapon and was considered by Sylora Salm to be one of its most proficient wielders.[3]
