Kuda was the second-largest city and the former capital of Miyama Province in Kozakura in 1357 DR.[1]
In that year, there lived in the city around 7,000 people divided into two wards. Kuda was the provincial capital under the emperor's rule but the shogun moved the capital to Tamanokuni.[1]
